Jazz Gunung diadakan di Java Banana – Bromo, yang terletak di Wonotoro, Sukapura di Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Java Banana Bromo berada kurang lebih 2000 meter diatas permukaan laut dengan nuansa pengunungan tropis bertemperatur berkisar antara 14–18°C pada siang hari dan 6–10°C pada malam hari.

Located at Wonotoro, Sukapura in Probolinggo, East Java, Java Banana Bromo is situated in 2000 meters above the sea-level, in breezy mountainuous tropical climate around 14–18°C during daylight and 6–10°C at night.

Jika anda datang dari luar kota, maka anda bisa menggunakan beberapa alternatif transportasi baik udara maupun darat. Anda bisa menggunakan pesawat lewat Bandara Juanda Surabaya dan menempuh jalan darat kurang lebih tiga jam menuju Probolinggo. Sementara jika anda turun di Malang, akses jalan darat kurang lebih dua setengah jam.

There are several interesting places around the Jazz Gunung 2010. Those places are:

  • BROMO–TENGGER–SEMERU NATIONAL PARK
    The Bromo–Tengger–Semeru National Park was declared as Protected Area for its rare and endemic flora habitat of migrant wildlife, unique ecosystem, active volcano, scenery of nature, culture and traditional lives of Tenggerese.
  • PEAK OF MOUNT PANANJAKAN
    A spectacular view of Sand Sea with the Mount Bromo, Batok and Semeru in the background. Sunrise can be viewed from the outlook point at the peak of Mount Pananjakan (2.770 m).
  • RANU PANE
    Ranu Pane and Ranu Gegolo are two beautiful crater lakes on the upland, 3 km beyond the southern rim caldera, mostly trekked by climbers of Mount Semeru. Ranu Pane and Ranu Gegolo are located in the vicinity.
  • THE SEA OF SAND
    The Sea of Sand is a strict nature reserve since 1919 for its extraordinary sands which form the floor of the 8–10 km caldera. The unique crater and sunrise watching at Bromo are the main attractions.
